A close friend of mine bought a 209 SalonSpa birthday gift certificate and I used it toward a hair cut and a massage last weekend. I had an incredibly pleasant experience from the moment I was greeted by the front desk staff (Victoria?) and all the way through to getting escorted to the 3rd floor for a massage. The Spa is absolutely gorgeous with simple yet very elegant decorations and ambiance. I would not have imagined a serene place like this existed in the heart of McKinney. What a treat! The massage was excellent and I truly enjoyed the entire experience. The therapist's name was Jean Marie and she was professional and polite. I highly recommend 209 SalonSpa if you are looking for a special place for hair styling and spa in downtown McKinney. A fantastic gift idea too if you intend to treat someone special to something truly exceptional.

209 must be one of the top destination Salons in North Texas. The Salon is bright, open and beautiful. The front desk staff appear professional, courteous, and knowledgeable, and stylists are brilliant. I had my hair done with Marinda and she is awesome and so meticulous. The Spa on the 2nd & 3rd floor is truly eye-catching and unique. It is chic and comfortable with very elegant and soothing decorative touches. I have only tried a facial service (Lainie) at the Spa and found her to be amazing. Go ahead and treat yourself (or someone you love) to a wonderful experience at 209 Downtown Salon & Spa. Prices are reasonable and definitely worth it.

My mom and I went to this spa in McKinney after being recommended by the Grand Hotel. It was fantastic!!!! Best day out ever!!! everyone was really friendly and the facilities were really good, I'm definitely going again!

After years of battling with thick, wavy hair and never being able to recreate styles previous hairdressers had given me, I decided to splash out and made an appointment at 209 Downtown Salon & Spa . What a revelation! I explained the dilemma I have with my hair, added to the fact that as a working mom of 3 time spent on my hair is very limited to say the least! Sarah was extremely attentive and suggested a style that she felt would be both manageable and suitable (bingo, part 1achieved!). During my time with Sarah the attentiveness continued - at no time was I made to feel that I didn't belong there. Yes, she was interrupted once to assist a client with a question but excused herself and apologized. I left with a hairstyle and conditioner I was over the moon about, and was pleased that nobody was pushy and tried to sell me products I didn't want, they actualy listened and recommended I kept using my own shampoo. 2 days later I washed and dried my hair in 10 minutes flat and managed to recreate the style! 8 weeks later, when I would normally be dying for a hair cut, my hair is still manageable. I have rebooked with Sarah for August and can honestly say that I think I will return again and again. Money well spent (and yes, the drinks are complimentary!).

Thank you 209!! At last, a salon & spa in McKinney that is better than anything in Dallas! I booked a facial and blowout after a friend had spotted this new salon/spa on Louisiana St in the historic downtown McKinney area. Knowing that I LOVE pampering but am super fussy she was ready to hear my normal moans and groans - salons that keep you waiting, stylists that don't listen, massage therapists that think a feather-lite massage is good, facials that make you break out etc etc. Boy, was I in for a surprise! Everyone was really friendly and attentive, my facialist used Sonya Dakar (and the facial was cheaper by $50 than the exact same facial at Eaton Court - take note, overpriced spas!). The service was better than some of the poshest spas in Dallas, and my blow out lasted for 4 days - 4 days!!!! Well worth the price (two services just over $100), the location is awesome and the salon & spa itself really cool - they kept the bones of the original building but the interior is super loft-y and chic. I RARELY post reviews but this place blew me away. I am telling everyone to try it and just hope I'll ber able to get an appointment the next time I call! :-)
